Buster

Buster McGregor
2000 - August 13, 2009

Buster, a Boston Rescue alumni rescued in 2000, was very fortunate to have been adopted and loved by a wonderful lady named Jeanette. In her words...

"Whether it was doing his run around the room and then a belly-crawl while I was waiting to take him out after mentioning the “w” word, his having to always sleep covered by a blanket or at night under my duvet, I shed tears every day just thinking of Buster and the huge void he has left in my life. Most of all I miss his wonderful zest for life, his energy and particularly, his many quirks that never ceased to make me smile everyday.

His distinctive look with a tongue that always hung out the side of his mouth and got many affectionate comments from everyone we met. He was given the nickname “nosey” by my neighbours for he would have to wait if he saw someone coming out of their apartment and watch until they had disappeared into another apartment or onto the elevator. He hated
getting awakened early in the mornings. He was always the last one in our small family to get out of bed. Winter mornings were particularly distasteful to him and he refused to wake up even as I struggled to put his boots on. I could go on and on about all his little quirks. While I have had many wonderful dogs, there has never been one who bought such joy to my life and who truly was my happiness. I will grieve his loss forever."
