 Texas Winston ???? - January 18, 2008 I have some sad news. Texas Winston has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Winston had a very difficult life in Texas and when we picked him up he had pellets lodged in his hip and spine making walking very difficult. This semi-paralysis gradually got worse and he was unable to control his bladder and bowels. Winston lived out his last years with my next door neighbour John and despite the horror of his earlier life in Texas, he was a gentle loving soul who was loved very much by John and his family. I am glad that John had the courage to let him go when things became too difficult for the little guy. You may remember Winston gaining some mobility over the summer with his doggy wheelchair - at least he had a great summer last year.
