UPDATE: RILEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Sporting his best black tuxedo and knee-high, white socks, this devilishly handsome doggy is all dressed up with no place to go. Despite his loving heart, he is very much a diamond in the rough, awaiting the perfect polish in just the right hands to make him shine.

As a former stray, this 6-year-old’s backstory remains a blank, his past an unsolved puzzle. Currently, he is a Boston without a harbour, without a home, without a hope.

Energetic and exuberant, with a basic knowledge of the most basic commands, he is still a behavioural work in progress, in search of structure.

After getting into an unfortunate catfight, literally, while in foster care, he lost both the fight and the use of one eye.

If we were to post a want ad on his behalf, it would read: “URGENTLY NEEDED: One patient and loving foster home, with NO OTHER PETS, to offer a temporary place of refuge for one desperate and deserving young Boston. Only serious offers, please.”
