Mari & Roxy Need Your Help!

Can you help these two sweethearts named Mari and Roxy?

These two Boston Terriers are well-mannered, friendly and happy. Not to mention, mirror images of one another!

They were recently dumped at a Quebec shelter as strays.

Because of compassionate people like you, Boston Terrier Rescue of Canada (BTRC) was able to help.

Now because of you, they are safely tucked in at a super duper doggie haven near Ottawa, Ontario. While there, they will be vetted before they go to their forever home.
They will be ready for adoption very soon!

Since they were likely from a puppy mill and used for breeding purposes, they both need to be spayed as soon as possible. Roxy has a mass that will also be removed at that time.

And their teeth are REALLY bad…

Many of Roxy’s teeth are black. She has a couple that are really infected – they are just hanging in there and need to be removed.

Mari’s teeth are ground down with some of her roots exposed.

They are in pain.

It brings tears to my eyes when I hear the stories like Mari and Roxy’s. BTRC can help this pair and many other sweethearts too – we just need you to make a donation today.

I know we asked for your support in December and many of you gave generously. I wouldn’t be asking again if it wasn’t urgent.

Money is extremely tight right now for BTRC but we don’t want to turn anyone away.

In the past three months, over 11 dogs have come into the care of BTRC.

There were already 10 in care including four Set for Life dogs. Your gifts make it possible for us to care for these 21 dogs.

We have spent over $20,000 on vet bills in the past three months.

That’s a lot of zeros and we know we are going to see a whole lot more over the next month or two.

For Mari and Roxy alone, our expenses will be approximately $4,000.

But we can’t say no to all these little black and white gentlemen and ladies who need our help. So we need your help. Anything you can give will make a difference!

You may even want to consider making a monthly gift – $15 is just $0.50 per day. And by spreading your gift out across the whole year, it is a manageable way to have a significant impact.

On behalf of all these little ones, thank you for your kindness,

Sincerely,
Margot Arsenault
President, BTRC

THERE ARE MANY WAYS YOU CAN MAKE A DONATION. FIND OUT HERE!

PS – Do you have any securities or mutual funds that have increased in value? If so, consider donating them to help Boston Terriers in need. CRA has eliminated capital gains tax on any increase value if you donate them directly (don’t sell them first!) to BTRC through CanadaHelps. This makes it one of the most efficient ways to make a donation.
