Adopted October 15, 2016
Lovingly nicknamed Bing Bing by his foster mom, this stylish senior with the spring in his step is a stickler for routine. Responding to his inner doggy clock, he knows when it’s time to eat and play, walk, nap and sleep, and if his needs aren’t met, he’s not shy about “saying” so.
Although he initially gravitates towards men, he also does well with women and with respectful children. Living alongside several cats and other dogs, he enjoys being part of the pack, but he wouldn’t turn down his paw at the chance to be the sole focus of someone’s attention.
A true Boston, he enjoys the water, and even took several brief hikes during the family’s recent camping trip. An easygoing guy, who knows his basic commands and is crate and housetrained, Bing loves rides in the car, but LOVES rides in his foster dad’s truck.
Entering foster care with a non-cancerous tumour on his gum, it was successfully removed, and although it could return, it would NOT metastasize to other parts of his body. Like many seniors, he has some osteoarthritis in his back end, and is being treated with anti-inflammatory medication.
Now on the hunt for his forever home, Bing Bing is best suited to a calm and quiet one with adopters to lavish him with affection, while keeping him moderately active through walks and play.
