Lou

Lou was adopted on July 26, 2019!

Lou is no back seat Boston when it comes to car rides. In fact, it’s one of his favourite pastimes preceded only by playing fetch with his foster mom.

Energetic and curious, he loves taking long walks in the woods and going on “adventures” to explore his environment.

He also loves meeting new people, immediately rolling over for belly rubs, and when alone with his foster mom, he’s either dozing in his dog bed or cuddling with her on the couch.

Highly intelligent, he knows his basic commands, and is both crate and housetrained. He does, however, have a stubborn streak and a high prey drive around other dogs, cats and squirrels. For these reasons, he requires a firm and highly experienced home (no cats or children under the age of 16, please) to set boundaries for him and structure his days while rewarding his efforts with positive reinforcement as Lou sets his own sights on becoming the best Boston he can be.
