ADOPTED: Petrie

Petrie was adopted on May 21, 2019!

With his perfect features, perky Petrie is a guaranteed heartbreaker!

His foster mom’s chatty and cheerful shadow, he loves snuggling with her, playing with toys, running round the yard with his foster friends, chewing on antlers and burrowing under soft blankets.

He prefers short walks to long ones, walking excellently on his harness, and after the proper introductions, gets along with most dogs and enjoys engaging with them.

An excellent student and eager to please, he rides calmly in his crate in the car, responds well to gentle corrections and knows not to jump up.

He stays comfortably in his crate when his foster mom is out and is housetrained provided he’s taken outside fairly often.

Although Petrie’s deaf — likely due to previously untreated ear infections – he’s now mastered some hand signals, and due to an ACL injury for which he takes pain medication, stairs are a challenge for him.

Still honing his doggy manners and with much still to learn, this precious pup is best suited to a patient, conscientious home without young children who shares his passion for snuggling.
