On Saturday, December 4th, Boston Terrier Rescue Canada held a “Photos with The Grinch” event in Whitby, ON. Our volunteers were so happy to get out in the community and participate in a ‘live’ event again!

We know that the Grinch had an epiphany when he couldn’t stop the spirit of Christmas from coming by stealing the presents. “What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!” But for the BTRC foster dogs who benefit from this fundraiser, Christmas did come in part from a store – Ren’s Pets in Whitby, our kind hosts.

We would also like to thank Brooke of Brooke Cooper Photography, who lent her time and talent, and our good friends at Baker Animal Hospital who donated the great gift basket up for raffle.

And to all who came out to get their photos with the Grinch – your support of BTRC is very much appreciated. It was wonderful to meet you and your fantastic dogs.

We are so pleased to share that $750 was raised – that’s enough to cover a spay or neuter for a rescued Boston Terrier!
