Oscar is adopted!

Sometimes a foster dog just fits! ❤️ Congratulations to Oscar who was adopted by his foster family!

Welcome Oscar!

Oscar, a handsome 6-year-old male, came to BTRC through a circuitous route. Originally surrendered to Iqaluit Humane Society, who sponsored his flight, Oscar made his way from Nunavut to Ottawa. Sash-Mar Paws Helping Northern Dogs reached out about him to It Takes A Village Dog Rescue; they suggested Eastern Canada French Bulldog Rescue who put us in touch! Oscar is now settling into a BTRC foster home.
We know he will have some veterinary care needed (he is not yet neutered) but by all reports Oscar is a very nice boy, albeit a determined escape artist from prior reports!
We’ll update everyone soon! Oscar is being fostered in the Ottawa area and, as he is a new arrival, we are not yet accepting applications for his adoption.
