Piper is adopted!

Sometime a foster dog just fits! We are pleased to announce that Piper has been adopted by her foster family ❤️

The results are in….

With her slender body and long tail, BTRC volunteers had a few different guesses of what breeds DNA testing might reveal for Piper. More than one suggested a possible mix of Boston Terrier and Border Collie. But it turns out this sweet and sassy girl’s genetic make-up is a majority of Boston Terrier with a sprinkling of French Bulldog.
What would you have guessed?

Presenting Piper!

Piper can be hyper, with teeth like a viper, and if you don’t watch her, a people-stuff swiper! Or, in other words, Piper is your typical puppy! 😂

At just under 5 months of age, this adorable girl is reportedly a mix of Boston Terrier and French Bulldog (she’s got the ears!), all capped off by a long, waggedy tail. Although they loved Piper very much, her family’s situation did not allow them the time she required, so they did the right thing surrendering her to rescue where she can work on her training while still young.

Piper is still being assessed so we can ensure she receives both the training and veterinary care she requires before being ready for adoption. Please note that BTRC does not maintain a waiting list, so no applications will be accepted at this time.
