Rosie was adopted in July, 2022.

WELCOME ROSIE!

This fluffy bundle is the most recent arrival to BTRC.

As we know, Boston Terriers can be predisposed to developing Cushing’s Disease. Three-year-old Rosie has the opposite condition: Addison’s disease. In very basic terms, Cushing’s causes the overproduction of certain hormones, while with Addison’s the level of these hormones is too low. Although there is no cure, with proper treatment, dogs with Addison’s disease can lead normal lives, and Rosie’s condition is controlled with medication.

But adorable Rosie, of course, is much more than her medication schedule, and we are all excited to get to know her better! We’ll keep you updated on this lovable girl.
