An update from Tinker Bell’s forever family!

I just wanted to give you another update on Tinker. First of all, we just LOVE her so much!! Every day that goes by, we can tell she’s adjusting better and better. I noticed she shed a bit in the first couple of days and it must have been her being a little stressed because now she doesn’t. She’s also getting into her new routine of eating, drinking and pottying and hasn’t had one single accident! (touch wood, lol:)) She has enamoured us all big time!

She is so full of energy and sure doesn’t want to be picked up unless she wants to be:) We don’t know if that is the Chihuahua in her or her past but when she snuggles, we can tell she trusts us more and more every day and the number of kisses she gives goes up too:) I tell the boys that it’s the girl in her, we don’t do anything unless we want to:) And too hilarious, when it’s time for a walk or to go outside, you’d swear she was on a trampoline the way she just goes from standing to jumping up in the air over and over!

Before we adopted her, we were thinking of changing her name but now that we know her, Tinker Bell suits her so well. She’s so tiny and dainty and you’d swear she has a little set of wings because she moves so fast and seems to fly through the air:) Plus, she answers to it so well that we figured, why put her through any more change than she has already been through.

We can’t thank BTRC enough for bringing her into our lives:)
