Boston QuaranTea Party 2020: Steeped in generosity!

On Saturday, May 23, Boston Terrier Rescue Canada hosted a virtual “Boston QuaranTea Party” on Facebook.

This event was the first of its kind for BTRC. With COVID-19 cancelling events and festivals, volunteers looked for a way to not only make up lost revenue from these important fundraisers, but also to connect with their supporters at a time when many were self-quarantining at home.

One of great things about this event was that it allowed people from across the country to get-together at the same time. Admittedly, there were a few glitches, but we learned some valuable lessons about hosting an event virtually, and of course, our wonderful supporters were gracious and understanding.
