Lilly

In Memory of Lilly

A brindle beauty of undetermined parentage, we’ll never know if the fact that BTRC alum Lilly lived to play ball came from her mom’s side, or her willingness to do anything for food was passed down from her dad. What we do know is that she was an affectionate and loving girl – cuddling with her people and giving kisses were right up there on the top of her ‘favourite things to do’ list.

As Lilly got older, she progressively lost function in her hind end. Her family got her a wheelchair so she could continue to be mobile. Eventually the chair proved too difficult to manoeuvre, and Lily spent the last bit of her life being carried where she needed to go.

Those legs are working again now, as Lilly runs like a pup at the Bridge.   🌈❤️🐾

Lilly, you were loved and will be forever missed.
