In Memory of Tilly

In September of 2023, BTRC alum Tilly stopped eating. Healthy and active, this almost 12-year-old Boston/French bulldog mix had given no other sign that she was unwell, so her family assumed she had an upset tummy. Worrisome, of course, but not overly so. Still, it was off to the vet’s, only to learn the devastating news: Tilly had two large tumours and no treatment was possible.

But there was one last act of love for Tilly – her family said their tearful goodbyes to their sweet girl and put her peacefully to rest.

From Tilly’s mom: “She brought us so much joy and was the sweetest dog…Thank you so for bringing her into our lives. She helped my daughter through the hardest times and was always by her side. We were so lucky…so happy to have had all those years with her…it’s heartbreaking how much we love these little creatures.”

Tilly’s journey across the rainbow bridge is a testament to the love her family gave her throughout their life. We are saddened by her passing, but grateful for that love.
