ADOPTED: Buddy

Buddy was adopted on December 11, 2020

Howl-dee Buddy!

This brindle chonky boi is new to the BTRC family and weighs in at about 30 lbs. Buddy had an unsteady upbringing, was found by his surrenderer as a stray so his estimated age is 7 years young.

What we know so far about this fella is that he is house trained and walks well on leash until he meets a fellow paw-tner and all manners giddy-up away. He enjoys sleeping in the sun, giving kisses as well as chasing cats – gives ‘em a run for their catnip!

Buddy is very possessive of his bones so his foster mom is going to work with him on his resource guarding. Building trust and safe relationships as well as good habits and manners are key goals for this guy. He will most likely need a home with no children.  We will learn more about this fella and update you soon!

NOTE: Buddy is being fostered in Nova Scotia. He isn’t up for adoption yet and won’t be until he has been fully assessed. As soon as he’s ready, we will open up the applications and let everyone know on social media.
