Maggy needs your help!

Will you help Maggy decorate her tree this year so she can have the surgery she needs?

Twas the night before Christmas and not a creature was stirring, not even a Boston Terrier named Maggy or her three feline brothers.

It was a different story in June when Maggy was found as a stray – her owners didn’t want her anymore. She was abandoned when she was 8 years old!

Left in pain from two severe luxating patellas (dislocated kneecaps) and fearful of many, Maggy was depressed and recovering slowly from her spay and standard vetting. These were necessary procedures paid for by Boston Terrier Rescue Canada thanks to the generosity of people like you.

Although safe in a boarding home, Maggy could only dream of being snuggled in her bed with visions of sugar plums dancing.

Christmas came early for Maggy.

Now, just a few short months later, Maggy has a foster family to call her own. Her stocking is hung by the chimney with care. She is loved and gaining confidence and starting to trust herself and others.

Donations from people like you were used to pay for Maggy’s first patella surgery on September 22nd. She is recovering well both physically and emotionally. She is now getting ready for her second patella surgery, which is scheduled for December 1.

This sweet, little Boston would not have had the life or medical care she needs without you.

Will you put a red ball ornament on Maggy’s tree with your gift of $20? Or you can hang a green stocking for $35 or place a red and gold present under the tree for $50? There are so many ways you can help BTRC decorate Maggy’s first Christmas tree.

Every dollar you give truly makes a difference!

When you make a donation, it will help to pay the costs (over $5,000) needed to get sweet Maggy ready for her new forever home.

And, once Maggy’s costs are covered, BTRC will use the money raised through the Giving Tree to cover upcoming vet bills.

Did you know that BTRC has paid $88,943.55 in vet bills in 2016?

This allowed 55 Boston Terriers and mixes to be cared for on their way to finding their forever homes.

All of this is possible because of you and your compassion. BTRC doesn’t want to turn any dog away because they can’t afford the vet costs. They won’t have to if you make your gift today.

Please, will you help Maggy decorate her tree to help BTRC reach their goal of raising $10,000 this holiday season?

Thank you for your kindness and for guaranteeing these beautiful dogs have a reason to hope.

PS – When you make your donation today, you will receive a charitable tax receipt for 2016 from BTRC!
